The Equatorial Guinea Christmas Eve Massacre (1975)

Soldiers dressed in Santa Claus costumes executed roughly 150 political dissenters in a stadium in Equatorial Guinea on Christmas Eve in 1975. Soldiers carried out the killings to the tune of Mary Hopkin's "Those Were the Days."
