MLK Jr.'s Mother Tragically Murdered

Alberta King, the mother of Martin Luther King Jr., was murdered in 1974, six years after her son's assassination. She was shot and killed while playing the organ at Ebenezer Baptist Church, where both her husband and son had preached.
