Nazi Officer Warns of Holocaust

Kurt Gerstein, a Nazi officer, attempted to alert the world to the Holocaust by sending detailed reports to Swedish, Swiss, Dutch, and Catholic officials. Despite his efforts, these warnings proved largely ineffective. He died by suicide in 1945.
