In 1972, Martin McNally, a copycat of D.B. Cooper, hijacked a plane and parachuted out with half a million dollars in ransom money. He dropped the money mid-fall, and it landed in a field where a farmer found it. His fingerprints were taken from the bag, leading to his arrest two days later.
