Notorious Hijacker Disappears in France

In 1972, Catherine Kerkow and an accomplice hijacked a Western Airlines flight, allowing 97 passengers to disembark in San Francisco before flying to Algeria. Remarkably, it was one of two hijacked planes that landed at San Francisco International Airport that day. Kerkow was last seen in France in 1975 and remains at large to this day.
