Fighter Jets Ordered to Ram

During the 9/11 attacks, fighter jets were dispatched to intercept United Airlines Flight 93, which was believed to be heading for Washington, D.C. As there was no time to arm the jets with missiles, the pilots were ordered to ram the hijacked aircraft to neutralize it.
