Ronald Simmons' Christmas Massacre

Ronald Gene Simmons, dubbed the "Hillbilly from Hell," committed a horrific series of murders in 1987, killing 16 people, including 14 members of his own extended family, shortly after Christmas. Following a history of violent and abusive behavior, Simmons strangled and drowned his children, hiding their bodies in a rain barrel and burying them to avoid detection. He even went as far as to retrieve car keys from the pockets of his victims, using them to kill others he felt had wronged him. After the murders, he was arrested and later executed, leaving behind a chilling legacy of brutality.
