Gumball's Adult Swim Rejection

In 2008, Adult Swim originally conceived the TV show "The Amazing World of Gumball" as a more adult program. However, Adult Swim rejected it due to its "way too extremely mind-blowingly cute" appearance, leading to its eventual retooling as a children's show for Cartoon Network in 2011.
