Flapjack's Creator's Real Adventures

The creator of the Cartoon Network show "The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack" came up with the premise after having his own failed adventures, such as when he got sunburned and began to starve on an underdeveloped island. He also "went to Mexico, lived in the jungles, and found himself eating out of dumpsters."
