Inspiration for Sweet Dee

Rob McElhenney used to hang out with Tom Morello of Rage Against the Machine, whose girlfriend at the time was nicknamed Sweet Dee. Rob thought the name sounded funny, so he used it for "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia." The name "Deandra" came afterward, as he needed a full name for what Dee would be short for.
