The youngest American serviceman in World War II, Calvin Graham, enlisted in the U.S. Navy at age 12. During the Battle of Guadalcanal, he sustained wounds and received a dishonorable discharge due to his false enlistment age. Later, Congress restored his veterans' benefits.
