Golden Lion Tamarins Reintroduced in Brazil

Since 1983, Golden Lion Tamarins have been bred in captivity and reintroduced in Brazil, supported by the establishment of the Poço das Antas and União Biological Reserves. These efforts have increased their numbers from around 200 in the 1970s to over 3,000 today, significantly aiding their conservation.
