The recipient of the 2021 Ig Nobel Prize in Medicine was a study that investigated the efficacy of'sex with orgasm' as a nasal decongestant. The research concluded that this activity was as effective in relieving nasal congestion as a commercial decongestant for a duration of at least 60 minutes.
