Senator's Role in The Dark Knight

In "The Dark Knight" (2008), the old man the Joker intimidates and compares to his father was actually Vermont Senator Patrick Leahy. Senator Leahy has appeared in five Batman movies and even voiced a senator in Batman: The Animated Series.
