Snorri Thorfinnsson's Historical Significance

Snorri Thorfinnsson, the first child of European descent to be born in the Americas in the early 11th century, was the son of explorers Thorfinn Karlsefni and Gudrid Thorbjarnardóttir. He played a significant role in the Christianization of Iceland.
