Tupac's Controversial Legacy

After being fatally shot in 1996, Tupac Shakur's last words to the assisting police were "fu*k you." He refused to say anything else. Later, his group, The Outlawz, smoked his ashes. At a memorial held shortly after his death, members of the hip-hop collective Outlawz took the lyrics to his track "Black Jesus" literally and mixed his ashes into a marijuana cigarette.
