Dawn of the Dead's Unsettling Undead

The 2004 remake of "Dawn of the Dead" by Zack Snyder featured only short one-to-two close-ups of the undead compared to the original. Advances in special effects and makeup made test audiences uncomfortable with zombies that looked too "human."
