Roman's First Newspaper

The Romans pioneered the world's first newspaper, known as the Acta Diurna, or Daily Doings, in 59 B.C. Although no surviving copies of this newspaper exist, it is widely believed to have reported on events, assemblies, births, deaths, and the daily gossip of the time.
