Eudora: Literary Homage

The creator of the popular email client Eudora named it after author Eudora Welty, who wrote the short story "Why I Live at the P.O." Although the creator would not have presumed to name it after a living author if he had anticipated its immense popularity, Welty was pleased and amused by the homage.
