Stigma of "Ebola Burners"

In Liberia, where cremation is culturally taboo, 30 men were drafted to burn the bodies of those who died from Ebola, playing a significant role in stopping the outbreak. However, the "Ebola burners" are still stigmatized in their communities and even by their own families.
