Vince Neil's Drunk Driving

In 1984, Vince Neil, lead singer of Motley Crue, was involved in a drunk driving accident that resulted in the death of Hanoi Rocks drummer Nicholas "Razzle" Dingley and caused brain damage to two other people. Neil was sentenced to 30 days in jail, 5 years of probation, and 200 hours of community service, and was ordered to pay $2.6 million in restitution to the victims and their families. However, he was able to bail himself out of jail for $2.5 million and only served 18 days in prison due to overcrowding.
