Balloon Syndrome

Hedgehogs can develop a condition known as "balloon syndrome," which causes the animal to inflate due to the accumulation of gas under the skin as a result of an injury or infection. The only animals known to get this illness are hedgehogs. This is because hedgehogs have a unique ability to curl up.
