The Jazz Singer (1980)

Neil Diamond, who was new to acting when he was cast in "The Jazz Singer" (1980), was having problems performing a scene in which his character was meant to be angry. As a result, he ordered his band to play a Barry Manilow song to make him angry for real during the filming of the scene.
