Star Trek Original Script

There was a scene in the original script for the first "Star Trek" film written by Gene Roddenberry that saw James T. Kirk getting into a fistfight with an extraterrestrial who had assumed the appearance of Jesus Christ. Some ideas from this script made it into the final cut of "Star Trek: The Motion Picture," but the vast majority of it was scrapped.
