Mount Thor

Mount Thor in Canada has the world's longest vertical drop. If you fell off it, you would fall for over a kilometer before you hit anything. This though is not the steepest vertical drop in our solar system. That record belongs to the Verona Rupes cliff on Miranda, a moon of Uranus. Its cliff face is estimated to be 12 miles high.
