Venezuelan Naval Blockade

The Venezuelan Crisis of 1902-1903 began when the Venezuelan president Cipriano Castro refused to pay Venezuela's foreign debt, causing Great Britain, Germany, and Italy to impose a naval blockade. All parties eventually came to a settlement with the help of U.S. pressure.
