Benito Mussolini's Mummy Gift

Benito Mussolini was highly superstitious and anti-clerical. After he learned about the "Curse of the Pharaohs," he ordered the immediate removal of an Egyptian mummy from Palazzo Chigi in Rome which he had accepted as a gift.
