Ye's Optical Lattice Clock

An atomic clock created by Jun Ye, a physics professor at the University of Colorado Boulder is currently the world's most accurate clock (as of 2022). Ye’s optical lattice clock is so precise that it will neither gain nor lose a second for 15 billion years.
