Anthropologist Napoleon Chagnon spent 6 months studying an Amazon tribe of Yanomamo and creating their genealogy, only to find out that all the names for the villagers had been made up by the informants. The headman was “Long D*ng”, who had a wife “Hairy-C*nt” and a son named “As*hole”, etc.
