Evlis Saved USS Arizona Memoria

When Elvis Presley was filming the movie, “Blue Hawaii,” he performed a benefit concert to raise money for the memorial to the USS Arizona, which had been sunk in the attack on Pearl Harbor. It was one of the longest concerts of his career and he refused to comp tickets and even made admirals pay full price to attend the show.
