Yekatit 12 Massacre

In 1937, two men tried to kill the Viceroy of Italian occupied Ethiopia. In response, the Italian army and Italian civilians went on a killing spree, burning down houses, and killing an estimated 20% of the population of Addis Ababa including sympathetic Ethiopians.
