Ned Leeds as Hobgoblin

MCU Spider-Man fans have speculated as to whether Jacob Batalon’s portrayal of Ned Leeds will take up the Hobgoblin mantle in future MCU movies as he does in the original comics. This is either foreshadowed or referenced in Spider-Man: No Way Home when Tobey's Spider-Man mentions that his best friend died trying to kill him. Ned then promises his Peter that he won’t do the same.
