Glenn Miller of the Glenn Miller orchestra disappeared in 1944 while flying to Paris during World War 2, spurring conspiracy theories including being assassinated on the way to broker a secret peace deal with Germany and that he died of a heart attack in a Parisian brothel. The case was last investigated in 2019.
