Failed Malawi Coup

In 2012, the dead body of the President of Malawi (Bingu wa Mutharika) was flown to South Africa “for medical treatment” for a fatal heart attack. It was an unsuccessful attempt to hide his death and organize a coup while preventing the Vice President from taking office.
