The 2005 Ig Nobel Prize in fluid dynamics was jointly presented to three researchers from Germany, Finland, and Hungary for calculating the pressure with which penguins poo, as detailed in their report, “Pressures Produced When Penguins Poo-Calculations on Avian Defecation.”
