Bulimia nervosa

Signs of bulimia nervosa are often spotted by dentists. Between 47% and 93% of bulimia nervosa patients have signs of tooth erosion due to repeated exposure to gastric acid and binge consumption of high-sugar foods. They may also display gum irritation and bleeding and sores on the angles of the lips.
