Zoot Suit Riots

Zoot Suit Riots were a series of anti-Mexican youth riots in Los Angeles that happened in 1943. The suits worn were seen as unpatriotic because of the amount of fabric used, and later became prohibited during World War 2 because of their wastefulness of cloth.
