Danny Elfman of Oingo Boingo fame, who also composed the themes for many Hollywood hits like Back To School, Beetlejuice, Batman, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Men in Black, & Edward Scissorhands, was rejected from his elementary school orchestra "for having no propensity for music."
