Project Sunshine

Project Sunshine

Project Sunshine was a series of secretive research studies conducted by the US government beginning in 1953 to ascertain the impact of radioactive fallout on the world's population. The US Government bought remains of dead infants, to test for radiation. They even took limbs from them and the parents were never told. One mother wasn't allowed to dress her daughter for her funeral, because doctors had removed her legs, and didn't want her to find out.
