Former NASA scientist Ray Cronise managed to lose 27 pounds in six weeks by chilling his body to a thinner physique. Human body temperature remains constant and it takes a lot of energy to keep it that way. So he took cool showers, wore light clothing, slept without sheets, and took 3-mile “shiver walks” in 30-degree weather wearing a T-shirt, shorts, gloves, and earmuffs.
