Gibbons Twins

Gibbons Twins

June and Jennifer Gibbons were identical twins who grew up in Wales. They became known as “The Silent Twins” since they only communicated with each other. They began writing works of fiction but later turned to crime. When they were institutionalized, they became convinced that one of them must die for the other to live a normal life. Jennifer agreed it would be her. Ten days later she suddenly died of acute myocarditis. No drugs or poison were found in her system and her death remains a mystery. June then went on to live a normal, healthy life and is still alive as of October 2019.
