After Columbine High School Massacre, Marilyn Manson wrote an article condemning the media’s coverage of the event. In it he wrote, “The media, since their inception, have turned criminals into folk heroes. They just created two new ones... Don’t be surprised if every kid who gets pushed around has two new idols.”
