G.I. Joe and Barbie

In 1993, ‘The Barbie Liberation Organization’, a group of artists and activists involved in culture jamming, swapped the voice boxes in approximately 400 talking G.I. Joes and talking Barbies then returned them to stores. Kids bought them and heard Barbie say "Vengeance is mine!" and G.I. Joe said, "I love shopping!"
