British Airways Flight 9

In 1982, after losing all four engines, the pilot of British Airways flight 9 calmly addressed the passengers, telling them "we have a small problem. All four engines have stopped. We are doing our damnedest to get them going again. I trust you are not in too much distress." All engines were later successfully restarted, allowing it to land safely.
