Douglas Adams

Douglas Adams, the creator of the “Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy” series, wanted “Slartibartfast's” name to sound very rude. He was originally called "Phartiphukborlz" and changed it gradually until BBC accepted it for radio broadcast.
