Camp Sundown

When parents Dan and Caren Mahar found their child Katie Mahar Chambers was diagnosed with xeroderma pigmentosa, a condition in which exposure to sunlight causes third-degree burns and cancer, a New York couple founded Camp Sundown, a summer camp for kids with xeroderma pigmentosa where all normal camp activities are held after sundown.
